Having been associated with the Division Library for over 20 years, Ms. Huong has always been dedicated and committed to her work, constantly innovating and creating. For her, the job is not just about distributing materials, but also about spreading a reading culture and inspiring a passion for knowledge among officers and soldiers. She believes that "books are dedicated teachers and trusted friends," playing a crucial role in developing critical thinking, improving training quality, and enhancing the combat readiness of the troops.

In the context of training and combat readiness duties that heavily influence time and information access habits, Huong always sought ways to bring books closer to the soldiers. She proactively innovated the way materials were displayed and categorized, developing monthly reading themes linked to political , cultural, and social events. She proposed organizing models such as "Soldier's Reading Day" and "One Good Book Per Week," while also promoting and encouraging officers and soldiers to read, creating a vibrant reading culture within the unit.
As the Chairwoman of the Women's Association of the Political Department, Major Tran Thi Thu Huong, along with the Executive Committee, innovated the content and methods of activities; effectively implemented the movement "Intelligent and courageous women in the military, fulfilling their duties well, building happy families, worthy of the title of Ho Chi Minh's soldiers in the new era" and the campaign "Building families with 5 no's and 3 clean's". The Association has built a savings fund of over 100 million VND, supporting members with interest-free loans to develop their family economies . Many practical models such as: "Women accompanying new recruits", "One good deed for comrades every week", "Dang Thuy Tram ward", "Sharing love and camaraderie" have been implemented, contributing to understanding the thoughts and supporting soldiers to successfully complete their tasks.
Colonel Tran Huy The, Head of Political Affairs of the 320th Division, commented: "Comrade Tran Thi Thu Huong is a prime example, always excelling in her duties and making many contributions to library work, developing reading culture, and innovating the women's movement in the unit."
For five consecutive years (2020-2024), Major Tran Thi Thu Huong was awarded the title of "Outstanding Soldier at the grassroots level," received a commendation from the Corps Command for her excellent achievements in women's affairs, and was awarded the title of "Outstanding and Exemplary Female Cadre" by the General Political Department.
