Can Gio has an international hospital that meets the 'gold standard'.

Vingroup Corporation has just announced that it plans to begin construction in August of the Vinmec Can Gio International General Hospital in the Vinhomes Green Paradise urban area (Long Hoa commune, Can Thanh town, Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City), built to the standards of Cleveland Clinic - one of the world's leading academic healthcare systems.

Cleveland Clinic is a non-profit, academically-based healthcare system that has consistently ranked among the top in the US for many years, with accolades such as "Best Cardiology Hospital 2024-2025" in several countries according to US News & World Report; and "World's Best Hospital 2025" for seven consecutive years according to Newsweek.

In Vietnam, Vinmec is the only facility that fully meets the stringent criteria for healthcare quality to join the Cleveland Clinic Connected network. The Vinmec Can Gio project is Vinmec's first facility, in which Cleveland Clinic participated in the planning and construction from the outset, adhering to the "gold standard" of global healthcare organizations.

Specifically, the medical staff and core personnel of Vinmec Can Gio will receive direct training at Cleveland Clinic – a leading medical center in the United States – through three specialized programs, tailored to each functional group. In terms of expertise, according to the cooperation agreement, Cleveland Clinic will send leading experts to participate in consultations (in person or remotely) on complex cases with the medical team at Vinmec. Domestic and international patients will have the opportunity to access high-quality clinical care, according to Cleveland Clinic standards, right in Ho Chi Minh City. In cases requiring specialized treatment, Vinmec Can Gio will assist in referring patients to leading hospitals within the Cleveland Clinic system in the United States.
