Their story is considered one of the rarest cases in lottery history, with a probability of only about 1 in 24 trillion.
A Welsh couple became millionaires not just once, but twice.

Richard Davies and his wife, Faye Stevenson-Davies, received their second "life-changing" prize from the UK National Lottery on Tuesday, after deciding to follow their gut feeling and try their luck again despite the extremely low odds.
A testament to perseverance and belief in luck.
The couple first won the jackpot in June 2018, hitting a £1 million (approximately $1.3 million) jackpot through the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker game.
Despite their lives being transformed after their first win, they continued to buy lottery tickets, clinging to the vague hope that luck might smile upon them once more.
Right in the middle of the holiday season, a "Christmas miracle" came their way when the couple won another £1 million, astonishing lottery experts.
According to estimates, the probability of a couple winning the lottery twice is only 1 in 24 trillion.
However, the victory didn't mean they would abandon their daily routines. Davies said he would still work seven days a week during Christmas, continuing his delivery job to handle the surge in parcels during the holiday season. Stevenson-Davies also affirmed that she would maintain her mental health support, even on Christmas Day.
Currently, the couple says they haven't decided how to use their new winnings. With their first lottery win, they gifted a car to a relative and donated a minibus to their local football team.
Other fortunate cases
Cases of people winning the lottery twice are not entirely unprecedented.
In the US, in July, Paul Corcoran of Massachusetts won the Powerball jackpot twice in one night, totaling $2 million.
Previously, in 2020, a Powerball player in Colorado also won the jackpot twice in one month, thanks to consistently using the same set of numbers for 30 years.
