Located on Huong Tich peak, part of the Hong Linh mountain range, Huong Tich Pagoda is a famous spiritual site. Previously, due to its rugged terrain and difficult access, Huong Tich Pagoda did not attract a large number of tourists.

Since its inception, the cable car project has reduced the effort and time for tourists. Instead of having to climb for hours, visitors can now leisurely enjoy the scenery from above with one of the modern cable car systems invested and built by Hong Linh Investment Development and Tourism Joint Stock Company.

Hong Linh Investment Development and Tourism Joint Stock Company (HIDT) was granted Business Registration Certificate No. 28.03.000539 on July 23, 2008, by the Ha Tinh Department of Planning and Investment. In 2009, the company began constructing a cable car system with a total investment of 120 billion VND. After nearly three years of construction, the cable car system was completed and put into operation on October 20, 2011, to serve tourists.

The Huong Tich Pagoda cable car system has two stations: the departure station is located next to the Co Shrine area, and the arrival station is right next to the pagoda. The difference in altitude between the upper and lower stations is 290m. The entire cable car line is nearly 1000m long with 11 pylons, the tallest being 42.5m and the shortest approximately 10m. When operational, the cable car has a travel speed of 5m/s and a total of 25 cabins (OMEGA IV type from Switzerland). The cabins are made of aluminum alloy and are equipped with dampers, shock absorbers, and anti-roll mechanisms. In addition to the main electric drive system, there is an independent hydraulic drive system that allows the system to operate at a lower power in case of emergency. Each cabin has a capacity of 8 people. The travel time from the Co Shrine to Huong Tich Pagoda and back is approximately 4 minutes. The operating team consists of 13 qualified engineers and technicians who ensure the safety of visitors. The cable car system chosen for Huong Tich Pagoda is a synchronized system from Doppelmayr (Austria), meeting the European ISO-9001 standard.

From the very beginning of its operation, Hong Linh Investment Development and Tourism Joint Stock Company has always focused on investing in this field. The company has published brochures and leaflets, and written promotional articles in the press about the cable car... The company currently has nearly 30 people serving the Huong Pagoda cable car line. Recognizing the importance of human resources, the company regularly organizes training programs to improve the professional skills, management capabilities, and service of its staff.
