Cathay Pacific launches more routes to North America.

Cathay Pacific recently announced the official launch of a direct flight between Hong Kong and Seattle (USA), bringing the total number of destinations served by the airline in North America to nine cities.

The Hong Kong to Seattle route operates five flights per week, marking the first direct flight connecting Hong Kong's aviation hub with Seattle, one of Washington State's major technology and cultural centers.

This is the latest route in Cathay Pacific's network expansion strategy to celebrate its 80th anniversary. The airline said that adding Seattle strengthens connections between economic hubs and meets the growing travel needs of both tourists and business travelers.

The airline currently operates nearly 120 round-trip flights per week to North America.

With the new route, Cathay Pacific now operates nearly 120 round-trip flights per week to North America, connecting nine destinations including Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Notably, passengers from Vietnam can conveniently connect via Hong Kong with 35 flights per week, including 21 flights from Ho Chi Minh City and 14 flights from Hanoi .
