Sharing on the Hanoi FC homepage on the evening of January 19th, the group of players from the Vietnam U23 team that won the runner-up title at the 2018 U23 Asian Championship (also known as the Changzhou generation) shared a message of encouragement and support to their younger counterparts in the Vietnam U23 team under the leadership of coach Kim Sang Sik.
Thành Chung shared: "Playing against the Chinese U23 team is not just a match; it's about representing our country, our honor, and the pride of ourselves and our nation."
Goalkeeper Van Hoang said: "I believe the Vietnam U23 team will have a good match. I wish Coach Kim Sang Sik and his players will show their best form, spirit, and character to bring glory to the homeland."
Xuan Manh said: "The whole of Vietnam is behind you guys. Wishing U23 Vietnam victory against U23 China."
Duy Mạnh said: "I hope the U23 Vietnam players will play with courage and confidence, show the Vietnamese spirit, and win against U23 China."
Under the guidance of coach Kim Sang Sik, the Vietnam U23 team has the opportunity to repeat history by reaching the final of an Asian U23 Championship.

After 8 years, Duy Mạnh, Thành Chung, and Xuân Mạnh have become important players for the Vietnamese national team.
