Andy Milne rose to prominence at the 2022 World Cup after a photo of him wearing an England shirt and holding a replica of the World Cup trophy went viral on social media. Since then, Milne has become a familiar face in the stands at both men's and women's national team matches.

The former teacher now lives in Thailand and is preparing for his 10th World Cup. He first followed the England team in 1982 in Spain, when he was just 19 years old. Despite losing all his belongings on that trip, Milne never gave up his commitment to the team.

Over more than four decades, he has attended eight men's World Cups and was present at the 2023 women's World Cup when England reached the final. With the 2026 World Cup to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, Milne aims to follow the entire tournament, starting on June 3rd.

To realize his seven-week plan, he decided to put his second home in Northwich, Cheshire, up for sale. According to Milne, this was the right time to turn the property into an experience.

The 62-year-old man is a huge fan of the England national team.

He will be present at England's opening match against Croatia on June 17th, and also plans to travel through several cities. One of his notable stops is Graceland.

Milne is currently a priority supporter of the official England Supporters Club. This gives him the right to buy tickets for all group stage matches, and potentially even access to tickets for the final.

However, cost remains a major challenge. World Cup 2026 ticket prices are soaring, with group stage tickets starting at £105 and the final reaching over £6,500. To reduce costs, Milne plans to stay with friends in various cities and book flights early to avoid price fluctuations.

Defender Pham Xuan Manh has suffered a toe injury . He is currently being monitored by the Vietnamese national team's doctors to assess his availability for the match against Malaysia on March 31st.
