According to the latest Premier League standings, Chelsea have moved closer to Manchester United with 47 points. The Blues are now only 3 points behind the Red Devils while having played one fewer game. To achieve this position, Pochettino's team secured an impressive 6-0 victory against Everton in the late match of round 33.
In Chelsea's resounding victory at Stamford Bridge this morning, April 16th, Cole Palmer was the star with a "poker" (four goals). The young midfielder scored in the 13th, 18th, 29th, and 64th minutes. Jackson and Gilchrist also each scored a goal.
As for Everton, the humiliating defeat against Chelsea leaves them with only 27 points and struggling in the relegation battle, just two points ahead of Luton Town, who are in the danger zone.
At the top of the table, Man City lead the Premier League with 73 points. Arsenal are second with 71 points, the same as Liverpool, but ahead on goal difference.
