In Hien Sy residential area, Phong Thai ward, many people know Ms. Hoang Thi Cam Nhung, a young Party member who started her business processing cereal products under the brand name Moc An, utilizing a fairly large amount of local raw materials.
With annual revenue of several hundred million VND, Ms. Nhung's business model provides employment for over 10 unemployed workers, with stable incomes of 6-7 million VND per month. To ensure a stable supply of raw materials, the facility also collaborates with many local farmers.
Ms. Cam Nhung shared that, in addition to her own efforts, the achievements she has today are also thanks to the support of the Hien Sy Residential Area Party Branch in issuing resolutions and thematic programs for local economic development.
As the Party Secretary of Hien Sy residential area, Comrade Hoang Tuc hopes for an increasingly prosperous life for the people. Based on local realities, the Party branch has selected many practical topics such as agricultural and forestry development; expanding service and trade businesses; and developing household economies... for its branch meetings.
According to Comrade Hoang Tuc, before each thematic meeting, the Party branch assigns Party members to research and survey the situation, understanding the difficulties and needs of the people in order to prepare appropriate content. During each meeting, Party members participate in exchanges and discussions to find effective solutions for smooth implementation.
Through thematic meetings, many economic development policies were concretized into resolutions by the Hien Sy residential area Party branch for implementation. Party members played a pioneering role in disseminating information and mobilizing people to boldly transform the production structure, utilizing the existing potential and advantages of the locality to develop the economy.
Not only the Hien Sy residential area Party branch, but also the Hien An residential area Party branch consistently focuses on leading and directing Party members to promote a pioneering spirit in developing household economies. Party member Chau Van Viet is a prime example.
Guided by the Party branch's policies and guidelines, Mr. Viet boldly invested in developing production with a model of planting acacia forests, raising cattle and pigs, and growing high-quality rice. Currently, after deducting expenses, Mr. Viet's economic model generates an annual income of 150-200 million VND.
At the Hien An residential area Party branch, not only Viet but also 6-7 other Party members are engaged in economic activities such as forest planting and livestock and poultry farming, contributing to job creation and increased income.
Resolutions must be practical.
The Phong Thai Ward Party Committee currently has 51 grassroots party organizations with 1,035 party members. Recognizing that improving the quality of branch meetings is a crucial task in Party building, the Ward Party Committee has implemented numerous solutions to innovate the content and methods of meetings at its subordinate branches.
In implementing Directive 50-CT/TW dated July 23, 2025, of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party branch activities in the new period, the Ward Party Committee has directed Party branches to strictly maintain the monthly regular meeting schedule. At the same time, it has strengthened the organization of thematic meetings linked to the local political tasks.
One of the effective solutions implemented is assigning members of the Party Committee of the ward to directly attend meetings at the Party branches. Through this, they guide the content and methods of organizing meetings, while also understanding the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, Party members, and the people.
Many Party branches, such as Hien Sy, Hien An, Dong Da, An Lo, etc., have adopted creative approaches in organizing thematic activities. Based on practical needs, these branches have chosen themes related to developing household economies, linking economic activities with improving living standards at the grassroots level, etc., to focus their leadership and guidance on implementation.
Following thematic meetings, the Party branch mobilized cadres, Party members, and people to implement models such as household economic forest planting, livestock and poultry farming associated with protecting a green and clean environment... Currently, many models have yielded positive results, contributing to changing the appearance of residential areas, raising community awareness, and creating momentum for local socio-economic development.
Comrade Trinh Duc Hiep, Head of the Party Building Committee of Phong Thai Ward, said that, in general, the thematic meetings have yielded practical results because the content is closely aligned with the local political tasks. Many prominent and pressing issues have been thoroughly discussed by the Party branches, and based on that, resolutions have been developed to focus on leading and directing their implementation.
Through thematic meetings, the exemplary role of Party committees and members continues to be promoted. Many good models and effective methods have emerged from the topics discussed at the Party branches, creating consensus among the people.
To further improve the quality of thematic meetings, in the coming time, the Phong Thai Ward Party Committee will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision; pay attention to professional training for the team of branch secretaries; and encourage branches to select issues directly related to people's lives to include in their meetings, ensuring that the content is relevant to real life.
