Opening the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nam, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, launched the "Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2025".

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the Month of Action for Gender Equality is an opportunity to spread the humane message: Let's join hands for equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age; and requested that all levels, sectors, social organizations, agencies, units, and localities pay attention to implementing the five key contents effectively.

In particular, it is crucial to strengthen efforts to prevent, detect, and strictly punish acts of violence, abuse, and discrimination based on gender, both in real life and in the digital environment. Relevant agencies need to proactively coordinate, provide timely protection, legal support, and psychological counseling for victims, especially women and girls…
