On August 1st, Binh Phuoc Club officially announced its name change to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club. This decision received the approval of provincial leaders, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), and the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF).
New name, but the spirit remains the same.
The change is not simply a name change, but a turning point that reshapes the team's long-term development strategy. Truong Tuoi Dong Nai FC carries with it a legacy of building trust and resilience from Binh Phuoc, the land that witnessed the first steps of the "green warriors." Therefore, despite the change in name and location, the team remains committed to preserving and promoting its traditional values and tenacious fighting spirit.
"The name may change, but the aspirations, identity, spirit, and soul of the club will remain intact. The new name is not the end, but an open door leading us to a broader horizon, where sports are a bridge connecting, spreading culture and identity, and inspiring the strength of community solidarity and the unity of all the people of Dong Nai province," wrote Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club.

The announcement from Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club emphasized: "We are not lost, but growing. Not saying goodbye, but opening our arms to embrace each other in a greater love, that is, the love for our country, the one and only love for Vietnam. And in the heart of every fan, wherever they may be, that green color will forever remain the color of faith, hope, and the desire for victory."
At the same time, the team also expressed its deepest gratitude to the fans, who have been, are, and will always be a great source of motivation on the journey to conquer new heights.

With its new name, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club is expected to be a worthy representative of Dong Nai province's football, while also contributing to the stronger development of the regional sports movement. The blue jersey, symbolizing faith and hope, will continue to accompany the players in every match. Concluding the announcement, the club emphasized its familiar slogan: "The Blue Warriors - Never Give Up," as a promise to fans that this journey will continue, persistently and proudly.
Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club has a chance to be promoted to the V-League, but...
In related developments, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai FC has the opportunity to participate in the V-League 2025-2026 season. Accordingly, Quang Nam FC is highly likely to withdraw from Vietnamese football due to a lack of sponsors. The VFF (Vietnam Football Federation) has ruled that Truong Tuoi Dong Nai FC will be the first team to receive a promotion spot to the V-League should the Quang Nam team withdraw from the league.
However, there are reports that Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club will not agree to promotion. This is because, at this time, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club does not have the appropriate preparation in terms of professional skills and personnel to compete in the V-League, which is much more demanding than the First Division.
