Following the merger, Lam Dong province is the leading province in the country in terms of both coffee acreage and production. The province has additional potential and strengths in terms of land, climate, and other intangible values such as landscape, culture, and tourism , which can be combined to expand both the scale and number of high-quality, multi-value coffee industry chains.
Lam Dong province currently has 312,000 hectares of coffee plantations, of which 80% are Robusta coffee, and the remainder are other varieties such as Arabica and Catimor. The province currently has approximately 50 coffee production and consumption linkage chains involving about 16,900 households and covering an area of approximately 30,900 hectares.

Within these supply chains, many businesses have invested in technological equipment to produce high-value powdered and instant coffee products, meeting both domestic and export consumer demands. Specifically, these include Thai Chau Coffee Co., Ltd., Tam Trinh Coffee Import-Export Co., Ltd., Ba Zan Dak Nong Coffee Co., Ltd., Thuan An Fair Agricultural Cooperative, Thanh Thai Fair Agricultural Cooperative, and others.
Over the years, the locality has implemented many solutions to develop high-quality, specialty coffee, meeting the standards of Vietnamese coffee management. As a result, many processes have been applied in Lam Dong's coffee supply chain, linked to the development of a green and sustainable Vietnamese coffee industry. These supply chains have significantly contributed to increasing the value of the industry, raising farmers' incomes, and expanding growing areas applying standardized cultivation processes.
Mr. Lang The Thanh, Director of Thanh Thai Fair Agricultural Cooperative (HTX) in Nam Nung commune, said that in recent years, the cooperative has developed coffee production along the value chain with two processed products: ground coffee and instant coffee. The cooperative's products are produced according to international RA standards, with a cultivation area of approximately 500 hectares in Nam Nung and Krong No communes, involving over 200 households. He hopes that with new policies encouraging agricultural economic development, he will have the opportunity to expand linkages, participate more in trade promotion activities, cooperate in investing in processing technology, and expand domestic and export markets.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province continues to effectively implement policies and support the development and expansion of coffee value chains by sector, especially high-quality and specialty chains, in order to increase the sustainable value of this key crop.
Lam Dong province is promoting and making good use of coffee brands and products such as the LangBiang Arabica coffee brand, the Di Linh coffee brand, the Cau Dat Arabica coffee brand, and the Da Lat brand - a miraculous crystallization from fertile land, used collectively for vegetables, flowers, coffee, and agro-tourism; the Dak Mil collective coffee brand and other prominent conventional coffee brands such as Enjoy coffee, Dano, Dak Dam, Godere…
