TPO - In celebration of National Day on September 2nd, many businesses and companies in Nghe An province have decorated their workshops and work areas with national flags, and employees have uniformly worn red shirts with yellow stars.

At a garment factory (Bac Vinh Industrial Zone, Vinh City, Nghe An province), for the past two days, the company grounds and sewing workshops have been covered with national flags by the staff and workers.

"Coming to work and seeing the national flag fluttering everywhere fills me with excitement, and my spirits are lifted, making me feel cheerful and happy," shared Ms. Thai Thi Thoa.

Before starting work, workers at many companies solemnly perform the flag-raising ceremony.

Not only were the national flags hung on the poles of the factory, but the workers also planted them on each sewing machine to celebrate the country's important holiday.

The entire factory area was covered in the colors of the national flag.

The message "I love Vietnam" is displayed on the back of the red flag with a yellow star shirts.

"When the movement was launched, we all responded by wearing shirts with the red flag and yellow star to celebrate National Day, feeling proud to wear the red flag and yellow star shirt," shared Ms. Thai Thi Thoa.

Mr. Phan Dinh Tai, chairman of the trade union at a garment company, said that the display of the national flag and the wearing of red shirts with yellow stars were enthusiastically carried out by the company's workers. "Through this activity, we hope to further cultivate patriotism and national pride. This will create a competitive atmosphere in labor and production, improving the spiritual well-being and income of the company's workers," Mr. Tai shared.

Not only in the factories, but also in the administrative offices, people collectively wore shirts with the red flag and yellow star.

Through these practical activities, we will further cultivate patriotism, national pride, and awaken the spirit of solidarity and awareness among cadres and workers in labor and production."

For the ethnic minority communities in the mountainous regions of Nghe An province, displaying the national flag, the Party flag, banners, and slogans on National Day, September 2nd, has long been a cultural tradition, expressing their love for their homeland and country. To celebrate Independence Day on September 2nd, in recent days, the ethnic minority communities in Tuong Duong district (Nghe An province) have begun decorating the main roads of the commune with vibrant red national flags.

Like many people in the villages of Tuong Duong district, the family of Ms. Lo Thi Lan (in Chan village, Thach Giam town) also proactively displayed the national flag to celebrate Independence Day. “Today, we live in peace and independence thanks to the heroic sacrifices of our ancestors who defended the country. I see displaying the national flag on National Day as a way to express our feelings, gratitude, and appreciation for their immense contributions,” Ms. Lan shared.

A household in Hoa Tay ward, Thach Giam town (Tuong Duong district) displayed both the national flag and a drawing of the national flag on their roller shutter door, expressing patriotism and national pride to celebrate National Day.

Many youth union members in the mountainous areas of Nghe An province hung Party flags and national flags along the roads.

The path to school for the children in Kem Don village (Tri Le commune, Que Phong district) is lined with national flags.
