The parents of runner-up Bui Khanh Linh gave their daughter advice before the Miss Intercontinental 2024 competition.

Recently, runner-up Bui Khanh Linh officially received the sash from the organization holding the rights to the Miss Intercontinental Vietnam competition, allowing her to participate in Miss Intercontinental 2024. Besides the Misses, runners-up, and Mr. winners present at the event, the appearance of the parents of the first runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 attracted significant attention from the beauty pageant community.

Previously, runner-up Bui Khanh Linh attracted attention when she revealed details about her family's circumstances in her hometown of Bac Giang . Sharing with Dan Viet newspaper, the beauty queen born in 2000 said that her parents are farmers , raising freshwater fish. "Having the means or the financial means to invest in my participation in beauty pageants is impossible. While my family has three siblings who are still in school, focusing on investing in our education is already a considerable burden for my parents," Bui Khanh Linh confided to Dan Viet.

At the sash presentation ceremony for Miss Intercontinental Vietnam 2024 to runner-up Bui Khanh Linh, the father of the beauty queen from Bac Giang shared: "I am moved that my daughter is taking on the responsibility of representing Vietnam in the Miss Intercontinental 2024 competition. I always tell her that no matter what she wants to do, she needs to cultivate a pure heart, because a person with a pure heart will accomplish good deeds. I hope that my daughter will go far in the upcoming competition."

The mother of runner-up Bui Khanh Linh shared that her daughter had a hard life since childhood, growing up in a farming family in her hometown of Bac Giang. "My family works in agriculture, and I taught my daughter to strive in all circumstances. Only through education can she achieve good results. I wish her good health and confidence on her new journey. Whatever the outcome, I always hope she will remain steadfast in doing the best things for her youth."

Speaking about Vietnam's representative at the Miss Intercontinental 2024 competition, Ms. Pham Kim Dung - National Director of Miss Intercontinental in Vietnam said: “For two consecutive seasons of Miss Intercontinental, Vietnam has had outstanding achievements with Bao Ngoc winning Miss Intercontinental 2022 and Ngoc Hang winning the 2nd Runner-up title at Miss Intercontinental 2023. Therefore, there is a lot of pressure on Bui Khanh Linh at this year's Miss Intercontinental competition.”

To accept the invitation to participate in the Miss Intercontinental 2024 competition, runner-up Bui Khanh Linh showed great courage and determination. Currently, Khanh Linh is increasingly shining and asserting her unique personality. Linh has never made hasty decisions, but always remains calm and thoughtful in every decision and thought. It is known that runner-up Bui Khanh Linh will showcase a costume called "Crane" at Miss Intercontinental 2024. This is also the costume that won third place in the National Costume competition within the framework of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest.

Bui Khanh Linh (born in 2002) garnered attention from beauty enthusiasts after winning the First Runner-up title at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023. She boasts a height of 1.76m and attractive measurements of 84-60-96cm. Before becoming the First Runner-up at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, the beauty from Bac Giang province had an impressive academic record and had won numerous beauty pageants, including the title of Miss Ao Dai at the "King and Queen" competition at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture in 2020; and Miss Ao Dai at the Phuong Son High School's Elegant Student competition in Bac Giang.

Currently, she is a student majoring in Advanced Agricultural Business Administration at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture. In the 2020-2021 academic year, she was an outstanding student with a GPA of 3.63/4.
