In the U19 European qualifying round in November, Louis made a strong impression by scoring two hat-tricks in just three matches. In the opening match, he shone with three goals, contributing to the Czech Republic U19's 6-1 win over Azerbaijan.
Then, despite only coming off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Malta U19, Louis still left his mark with many impressive performances. In the match against Northern Ireland U19, Buffon's son returned to the starting lineup and continued to explode with another hat-trick, bringing a 4-0 victory for Czech Republic U19.
What has caught the attention of fans the most is Louis's independent development. Instead of following his father's career as a goalkeeper, he chose to become a striker and is currently a member of Serie A club Pisa. The young talent has gone through training academies at Sisport and Juventus before moving to Pisa in 2023 and making his professional debut in 2025.
The reason Louis chose to play for the Czech Republic instead of Italy like his father was also shared by him in an interview with the Czech Football Federation. Buffon's son said he wanted to play for his mother's homeland (former model Alena Seredova) and this decision received absolute support from the whole family.
