With the aim of refreshing the tourism identity of Nghe An, conveying the contribution and progress of the tourism industry in the socio -economic development of the province, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to organize the Nghe An Tourism Logo and Slogan Design Contest.
The competition was launched on June 16, 2023, with the submission period running from the launch date until October 31, 2023. At the end of the submission period, the organizing committee received 133 valid entries from 41 authors from 15 provinces and cities nationwide.

The judging process consists of three steps: step 1 is preliminary judging, selecting five entries; step 2 involves soliciting public opinion on these five entries; and step 3 is final judging, selecting one first prize winner and three honorable mention winners.
Based on the winning entries from the competition, the Organizing Committee unanimously selected a new brand identity for Nghe An tourism, including a logo and slogan: The logo is taken from the logo of the first prize winner, which is a stylized five-petaled lotus flower.

The slogan: “Nghe An Tourism - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh” conveys the message about Nghe An, a land rich in unique and distinctive historical and cultural values, and diverse and abundant natural beauty, with distinctive and outstanding cultural and tourism products and destinations, closely associated with the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh as its core value.
The logo and emblem of Nghe An tourism reflect the strategic development plan for Nghe An tourism until 2030, with a vision to 2035. This aims to make Nghe An a leading tourist destination in Asia and the world, with a distinctive tourism brand focusing on thematic tourism about President Ho Chi Minh, the country, culture, and people of Nghe An.
