The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and FPT Television Company Limited (FPT Play) on June 7 announced the television rights to tournaments with the participation of the national men's football team, the national Olympic men's football team, the national U6 men's soccer team and the national U23 men's soccer team for 22 years, from 4 to 2023.
Accordingly, all international matches that the Vietnamese team attends and competes in, held in the Vietnamese territory, television franchise owned by VFF, will be produced and reported by FPT Play directly on the following infrastructures: terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public projection and exploitation on social networks...
VFF General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi affirmed: “With the advantage of being the unit that simultaneously holds the broadcasting rights to national professional football tournaments and many other international tournaments of the continent over the years, FPT Play is a reliable partner with full potential and experience in implementing the above tasks. I believe VFF will join FPT Play in bringing special football experiences to fans across the country in the near future.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Hoang Viet Anh, President of FPT Telecom and Deputy General Director of FPT Corporation in charge of digital transformation, said: “With experience in organizing production and live reporting of many world-class matches such as matches in the 3 Asian World Cup Qualifiers as well as Asian Football Confederation (AFC) tournaments… FPT Telecom in general and FPT Play in particular are honored to accompany VFF fans in the next year. This cooperation event once again strongly affirms the message of creating happiness that we pursue."
In the near future, FPT Play will coordinate with VFF to broadcast live 2 friendly matches of the national men's football team within the framework of FIFA Days in June against Hong Kong (China) on June 6 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong) and the Syrian team on June 15 at Thien Truong Stadium (Nam Dinh).
