Recognizing the potential of macadamia trees, Macaday Joint Stock Company was established in Huu Lung commune in 2025. The company has focused on developing raw material areas and applying technology to deep processing, enhancing the value of macadamia nuts.

In August 2025, Macaday Joint Stock Company, located in Huu Lung commune, was established with the goal of developing a macadamia nut cultivation area and processing products from macadamia nuts, contributing to increasing the value of the product. Mr. Le Ha Giang , the company's director, stated: "From the very beginning of operations, the company has invested in building a production workshop spanning over 600 square meters, fully equipped with areas for preliminary processing, drying, processing, cold storage, and packaging, meeting the requirements of a closed-loop production process. In addition, we have invested in modern machinery for processing macadamia nuts, such as dryers, dehumidifiers, and nut splitting machines…"

To proactively secure raw materials for production, the company has actively connected with and guaranteed the purchase of products from local farmers in the province. Although it only started operating in August 2025, in the last harvest season, the company purchased approximately 100 tons of fresh macadamia nuts from households in many communes throughout the province.

Alongside investing in technology, the company also focuses on product quality. Therefore, the entire production process is strictly controlled from harvesting, processing, drying, shelling to packaging, ensuring the preservation of the natural flavor and nutritional quality of the product. Currently, the company offers macadamia nut products such as: dried cracked macadamia nuts, macadamia kernels, macadamia candy, etc.

To expand its product market, the company pays special attention to brand building. Currently, the product has complete packaging and labeling and meets food safety and hygiene regulations. The company also focuses on promoting its products on social media platforms and e-commerce sites. To date, the company's products are available in 100 supermarkets and organic food chain stores in the province and other provinces and cities nationwide.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Hong from Binh Gia commune shared: "Through social media, I learned about Macaday Joint Stock Company's products. Not only is there a wide variety, but the company's product quality is also guaranteed. The products are also carefully and elegantly packaged. Therefore, I often buy the company's products for personal consumption and as gifts."

Promoting the systematic and efficient processing of macadamia nuts not only creates a stable market and reassures macadamia growers, but also contributes to improving the company's operational efficiency. Since its inception, the company has sold approximately 15 tons of finished macadamia products, generating estimated revenue of over 3 billion VND. The company has also created jobs for 20 local workers. In addition to production, the company has established a macadamia plantation covering 100 hectares. Many agencies and organizations in the province have visited to learn from the company's closed-loop macadamia production model, from planting to product distribution.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tan, Head of the Economic Department of Huu Lung Commune, said: Although newly operational, Macaday Joint Stock Company has initially demonstrated its effectiveness and development potential. In the coming time, the department will proactively advise the Commune People's Committee to implement support solutions, create conditions for participation in trade promotion activities, and promote products at events and fairs inside and outside the province; and guide the enterprise in developing macadamia nut products that meet OCOP standards.

In reality, the initial positive results from Macaday Joint Stock Company's operations have not only contributed to increasing the value of macadamia nuts but also created jobs, stabilized output, and helped people confidently expand production. In the future, the company plans to collaborate with people in the province to develop macadamia growing areas, while providing technical support and guaranteeing product purchase. Through this, it will gradually expand production scale and contribute to promoting rural economic development.
