Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park is built to the highest standards in technology such as IoT, 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), big data and digital twins, and automation (such as smart lockers and autonomous vehicles).
Viettel Logistics Park comprises several main zones: the Inter-agency Building - NOC (Nominee Center), which houses the offices of relevant authorities and coordinates the entire Viettel Logistics Park, equipped with over 2,000 AI cameras for monitoring and operation; the Smart Gate, utilizing AI for license plate and container recognition and driver biometrics, enabling a threefold increase in processing and customs clearance speed; a 6-dimensional X-ray system for detecting prohibited goods and fraud without opening containers; an automated transshipment area using telescopic conveyor belts instead of manual labor, reducing transshipment time to 30-40 minutes (compared to the traditional 3 hours); an e-commerce and express delivery processing zone utilizing AGV robots, DWS systems, and automated screening, capable of handling up to 600,000 parcels per day; and a trade exhibition and livestreaming zone for trade promotion, product introductions, and sales livestreaming, helping businesses access the global market.
Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park operates a closed-loop import and export process, encompassing customs clearance, quarantine, inspection, transshipment, warehousing, and cross-border transportation. The entire process is managed and operated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, contributing to increased efficiency, transparency, and reduced processing time. Before entering the park, businesses and drivers register appointments and declare information via a digital application. As vehicles travel along National Highway 1A, the Ultraview AI camera system, strategically placed along the route, automatically identifies and verifies license plates and prepares data, minimizing processing time at the gate. At the Smart Gate, the AI system performs synchronized functions: license plate recognition, weight measurement, driver biometric authentication; and cross-referencing information on cargo type, declarations, transport orders, and vehicle data.

Within the complex, over 2,000 AI cameras are deployed to continuously monitor and analyze vehicle traffic, cargo status, operational density, and detect anomalies. A synchronized LED display system provides information on available parking spaces and guides vehicles along the optimal flow. At the inter-agency building, electronic records are received and processed centrally. Agricultural products undergo quarantine according to regulations; electronic goods and food items are inspected using a modern screening system. Repackaging, sorting, and quality control processes are automated using robots and conveyor systems, ensuring accuracy and high efficiency.

In the coming period, Viettel Post will continue to accelerate investment and expand infrastructure and services at the Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park, focusing on developing the ICD (inland container depot), deploying cross-border rail transport services, establishing an export processing zone, and upgrading the warehousing system to international standards. The synchronized investment in these items is expected to improve customs clearance capacity, enhance multimodal connectivity, and optimize the efficiency of the supply chain. Through this, the Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park will gradually affirm its role as a crucial link, moving towards becoming a key logistics center connecting Vietnam and ASEAN countries with the Chinese market, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
