The life of the world's "poorest" president

Jose "Pepe" Mujica, known as the "world's poorest president", has died at the age of 89 from cancer.

In a post on social network X, Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi wrote: "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of comrade José Pepe Mujica, president, activist, guide and leader.
