The consultation focuses on the draft plan for reorganizing and streamlining the organization and operation of villages, in conjunction with the reorganization and streamlining of Party organizations, the Fatherland Front working committee, and political and social organizations in residential areas. Public opinion gathering will be conducted in all households within the villages directly affected by the reorganization.
Each village established a public opinion gathering team, with the Party branch secretary as the team leader. The public opinion gathering teams distributed opinion questionnaires to each household from 5 PM on June 22nd until the end of June 23rd. The teams counted, compiled, and reported to the Commune People's Committee before 11 AM on June 24th.
According to Mr. Le Do Tuan Khuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dai Loc commune, based on a review of population size, number of households, natural conditions, historical and cultural traditions, and community cohesion, the People's Committee of the commune has developed a plan to reorganize villages in a streamlined manner, in accordance with current regulations and the local development orientation.
According to the proposed plan, An Loi Tay village, with 568 households, will remain unchanged (this village was formed after the merger of Dai An, Dai Loi, and Hoa Tay villages of the former Dai Nghia commune). Dai Loc commune will merge the remaining 32 villages to form 15 new villages. After the reorganization, the entire commune will have 16 villages, a reduction of 17 villages compared to the current number.
After the merger, the villages with more than 1,000 households include: Dai Phuoc (1,218 households), Ai Nghia (1,200 households), Dai Nghia (1,181 households), Dai An (1,179 households), Dai Hiep Nam (1,133 households), and Hoa Dong (1,024 households).
Dai Loc commune will utilize two surplus buildings, formerly the offices of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the commune, to house village activities. Specifically, the former Dai Hoa commune office will be allocated to Dai Hoa village; and the former Dai Nghia commune office will be allocated to Dai Nghia village.
