Pursuant to Decision No. 1228/QD-TTg dated May 21, 10 of Prime minister Goverment Regarding the retirement of Lieutenant General Pham Hong Chuong, Commander of Military Region 2, at the conference, Lieutenant General Pham Hong Chuong handed over the duties of Commander of Military Region 2 to Major General Tran Van Bac, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.
