Crashing a supercar worth nearly 5 billion while livestreaming, male streamer banned for life

Once they become famous, streamers can earn huge amounts of money from broadcasting platforms as well as through donations and contracts from brands.

Jack Doherty – a famous streamer and YouTuber is such a person. He himself does not hesitate to show off his wealth by rewarding himself with a car worth about $200.000 (nearly 5 billion VND). However, recently, Jack smashed his supercar and more importantly, his “rice bowl” in a forgettable broadcast.

Accordingly, earlier this month, Jack - while sitting in his very expensive custom McLaren 570S - turned on his phone to broadcast a livestream. However, this also meant that the streamer could not focus on driving as he had to constantly look at his phone, text, and check the settings. Then the accident happened soon after. The lack of concentration combined with the slippery road caused Jack to lose control of the steering wheel, hit the right guardrail of the highway, and even almost collided with other cars on the road.

Fortunately, the streamer was safe after the accident.

Not only did the expensive car get destroyed after the accident, Jack will have an even bigger headache when Kick - the platform where he was livestreaming - announced that it would terminate the contract and ban the male streamer for life. Said and done, currently Jack's fans can no longer find his livestream page and only see the words 404 Error when accessing it. There has been a lot of criticism directed at the male streamer after the accident, saying that driving and using the phone while broadcasting is a reckless act. More importantly, right after the accident, Jack did not forget to ask passersby to take pictures for him as documentation for the video after that.

It is not known what the future holds for this streamer, but this will definitely be a lesson for Jack to remember for life. It is just a pity that he will no longer have the chance to regret when he has been banned for life by the platform.
