When farmers can no longer work independently without coordination.
Gone are the days of anxiously waiting for traders or having to take their produce to the market themselves. Now, whenever harvest time arrives, the cooperative collects and connects farmers with buyers for their products. For many livestock farmers, this is the biggest change since joining the collective economic model.
At Ms. Pham Thi Lan's family farm, trays of freshly harvested sea duck eggs are quickly picked up by cooperative members and transported to a collection point before being sent to market. With a stable market outlet, people no longer have to worry about their products going unsold or prices fluctuating as before.
Ms. Pham Thi Lan, a member of the Dong Tien Livestock and Service Cooperative, said: “The biggest advantage of joining the cooperative is that the market for our products is more secure. Thanks to this, my family is more proactive in planning production and can confidently expand the scale of our farming. From small-scale farming, our flock of sea ducks has now grown to over 500 birds.”

Dong Tien Livestock and Service Cooperative, Hai Lang commune, collects and sells sea duck eggs for its members.
In addition to supporting product consumption, Dong Tien Cooperative is also gradually reorganizing production in a more systematic way. Member households are linked in the same livestock farming process, receiving technical support, quality control, and quantity control to meet market demands.
Mr. Vu Tuan Anh, Director of Dong Tien Livestock and Service Cooperative, said that the cooperative currently has more than 20 members. The cooperative's goal is not only to consume products for the people but also to build a stable livestock farming area, improve product quality to increase competitiveness in the market.

Strive to achieve the highest possible level to reach the annual GRDP target of over 13%.On July 2nd, the Provincial Party Committee held its 10th conference to discuss and evaluate the situation and results of work in the first six months of 2026; and to provide input on key tasks for the last six months of the year. Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, and the Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee presided over the conference. The story of the Dong Tien Livestock and Service Cooperative is a glimpse into how the collective economy is gradually becoming a "pillar" for farmers in production and product consumption. According to statistics from the Provincial Farmers' Association, many cooperatives and cooperative groups have gradually been formed and developed at the grassroots level. In the period 2020-2024 alone, the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have propagated, mobilized, advised, and supported the establishment of 94 cooperatives and 96 cooperative groups. In 2025, an additional 14 cooperatives and 18 cooperative groups are expected to be established.
These figures show that the collective economy in rural areas is gradually gaining traction and becoming a preferred path for many farmers. In fact, in many localities, when people cooperate through cooperatives, not only is the output of products improved, but the scale of production, the quality of goods, and competitiveness in the market are also gradually enhanced. This is also an important foundation for promoting the development of commercial agriculture in a more sustainable direction.
Enhancing the role of the Farmers' Association as a "facilitator"
The reality from many collective economic models in the province shows that the development of cooperatives and cooperative groups in recent years has a very clear imprint of the Farmers' Association at all levels. Not only stopping at promoting and encouraging the establishment of new models, the Farmers' Association at all levels also accompanies members in technical training, supporting production linkages, connecting consumption, and gradually introducing digital transformation into agriculture.
In 2025, the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province propagated, mobilized, advised, and guided the establishment of 14 new cooperatives and 18 cooperative groups; at the same time, they extensively implemented the emulation movement "Farmers' Association officials and members actively participate in the development of collective economy in agriculture," creating a ripple effect in the development of the collective economy at the grassroots level.

The Farmers' Association of Tien Yen commune is promoting the application of science and technology among its members to bring their products to the e-commerce market.
Alongside this, propaganda efforts have been intensified through various forms to raise awareness among members and farmers about the role of the collective economy in the development of commercial agriculture. In 2025 alone, the various levels of the Association organized propaganda sessions reaching over 138,000 members, farmers, and the general public on policies and guidelines for developing the collective economy; and collaborated in producing hundreds of news articles and reports promoting effective cooperative models.
In addition to supporting the establishment of new models, the Farmers' Association at all levels also focuses on improving the quality of cooperative operations through training, human resource development, and support for digital transformation. In 2025, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized many training courses on management skills, business planning, and trade skills for cooperative officials; and also organized 17 training conferences on digital transformation for more than 1,000 officials and farmer members. More than 10,162 members were also supported in creating accounts on e-commerce platforms to promote and sell their products.

Vietnam encourages US businesses to expand investment in high technology. On the morning of June 26th, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung received Mr. Jeff Place, Supply Chain Director of Coherent Group (USA). During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam encourages US businesses to expand investment, especially in high-tech, innovation, and semiconductor industries. Resources supporting production development also continue to receive attention. Through the Farmers Support Fund and in coordination with credit institutions, many members and cooperatives have accessed loans to expand production scale and develop value chain linkage models.
From this reality, it can be seen that the role of the Farmers' Association at all levels is not only to act as a bridge to mobilize farmers to participate in the collective economy, but also as a "facilitator" helping cooperatives gradually consolidate their operations, improve the effectiveness of linkages, and adapt to the increasingly high demands of the market. This is also an important foundation for the sustainable development of the collective economy, contributing to improving the income and living standards of rural people.
