Dam Rong 2 has great potential for developing local OCOP products such as coffee, durian, etc.

From signature products...

In Hamlet 2, Ro Men, the pineapple orchards, now in their harvesting season, have become a source of hope for many households. From a relatively new model, the Dam Rong Pineapple Cooperative has proven the effectiveness of production linkage.

Because households relied on traditional farming methods, product quality was inconsistent, and sales were challenging. However, by joining the cooperative, members could exchange knowledge on cultivation techniques, standardize production processes, and support each other in finding stable markets for their produce.

Established in 2021 with 7 members and 11 hectares of cultivated land, the cooperative has now grown to 17 members with 23 hectares of honey pineapple; of which, 17 hectares are already producing fruit, with an estimated yield of over 400 tons per year.

If pineapple represents the strength of farmer solidarity, then HUSA coffee demonstrates a systematic approach to enhancing the value of agricultural products through deep processing. Leveraging the advantage of high-quality coffee growing regions, the HUSA Agricultural Service Cooperative is gradually establishing its position in the market with its roasted and ground coffee products that have achieved OCOP 3-star certification.

Currently, HUSA's raw material area is built on the basis of links with local households, focusing on production according to safe processes, emphasizing quality from cultivation and harvesting to processing. The raw materials are selected from coffee gardens located in areas with favorable climate and soil conditions, creating a distinctive flavor that bears the mark of the Dam Rong 2 region.
