Suggest users register SIM online

The policy on subscriber information management is one of six major policy groups in the draft decree detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Telecommunications (Decree) that the Ministry of Information and Communications is soliciting public opinions on.

According to the draft decree, subscriber information registration will be carried out in the form of direct registration at the point established by the telecommunications enterprise, directly at the point with a specified address established by another enterprise, authorized by the telecommunications enterprise to carry out subscriber information registration. The draft decree also stipulates the form of subscriber information registration through applications and websites of telecommunications enterprises... This is classified as a form of online registration through the use of software and applications owned and agreed upon by the enterprise itself.

The draft also stipulates that telecommunications enterprises are responsible for ensuring that subscriber information registration points fully comply with regulations on authentication and storage of subscriber information; and are fully responsible before the law for the fact that subscriber information is compared, entered, stored, and managed at the registration point.
