At the scene, a large amount of soil, rocks, and trees from the hillside collapsed, burying the road. Cars and motorcycles were unable to move in the area, causing a long traffic jam and disrupting traffic on this route.
Immediately after the incident, the construction unit of the National Highway 28B renovation project quickly deployed machinery and personnel to the scene to urgently rectify the situation. Local residents also actively joined hands to help clean up and clear the road. By 5:45 PM on the same day, the road was temporarily reopened to traffic.
Earlier on the afternoon of October 27th, a landslide also occurred at this location, causing traffic congestion. In addition to this location, prolonged heavy rain has also led to repeated landslides on National Highway 28B through Dai Ninh Pass.
