It should also not be used by people allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicinal herb.

Earthworms live in the soil and may contain many harmful bacteria; therefore, they must be cleaned according to the processing procedures specified in the Pharmacopoeia before use. They should not be used without the prescription and advice of a healthcare professional.
