The highly anticipated match between wrestlers Ha Van Hieu and Zakhar Dzmitrychenka took place at 4:15 PM at the wrestling festival in Man Xa village, Van Mon commune, Yen Phong district , Bac Ninh province. Previously, the two had agreed to fight on March 10th, then scheduled it for March 31st, but the date was changed at the last minute to April 11th.

Zakhar is 1.81 m tall and weighs 84 kg. Van Hieu (also known as the Giant Hieu) has a slightly larger physique at 1.92 m tall and weighs over 100 kg, but he has retired and no longer has abs. The match was evenly balanced, with the two wrestlers grappling for most of the time.

With his youthful energy, Zakhar at times dominated the fight, proactively launching technical attacks that forced his senior opponent, Van Hieu, to retreat and even draw blood. Meanwhile, Van Hieu repeatedly tried to find points to grab around Zakhar's groin area, leaving his younger opponent breathless.

However, after 11 rounds lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes, including breaks, the referees were forced to declare a draw for both wrestlers, as neither was declared the winner according to traditional Vietnamese wrestling rules.

According to these rules, the wrestler who pushes their opponent out of the wrestling ring, throws them to the ground, or lifts them 30cm off the ground is declared the winner. The match is officiated by a team of referees from the Vietnam Wrestling Federation.

With the match ending in a draw, Van Hieu and Zakhar split the 260 million VND cash prize equally.
