The much-anticipated match between two wrestlers Ha Van Hieu and Zakhar Dzmitrychenka took place at 4:15 p.m. at the wrestling festival in Man Xa village, Van Mon commune, Yen Phong district , Bac Ninh province. Previously, the two had agreed to fight on March 10, and were scheduled to fight on March 31, but changed the date at the last minute to April 11.

Zakhar is 1.81 m tall and weighs 84 kg. Van Hieu (also known as Giant Hieu) is slightly taller at 1.92 m and weighs more than 100 kg, but he has retired and his abs are no longer muscular. The match was balanced with the two wrestlers struggling for most of the time.

With his youth, Zakhar had a time when he dominated the match when he took the initiative to use technical attacks, forcing his senior Van Hieu to retreat many times and sometimes draw blood. Meanwhile, Van Hieu tried many times to find a grip in the areas around Zakhar's waist and also made his junior gasp for breath.

However, after 11 rounds lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes including break time, the referee team was forced to decide to draw between the two wrestlers, as no one won according to traditional Vietnamese wrestling rules.

According to this rule, the wrestler who pushes his opponent out of the ring or makes him fall on his back or lifts him 30cm off the ground is recognized as the winner. The match is supervised by a group of referees from the Vietnam Wrestling Federation.

With the draw, Van Hieu and Zakhar split the 260 million VND cash prize.
