After taking over the “ruins” of Man Utd from coach Ten Hag, interim coach Van Nistelrooy played an important role in reviving the club. He helped the club win two victories against Leicester City (English League Cup), PAOK (Europa League) and drew with strong team Chelsea in the Premier League.

Coach Van Nistelrooy wants to stay as assistant to new coach Ruben Amorim. He shared: “Before coming to Man Utd, I wanted to become head coach. I was given a great opportunity by the team's Board of Directors to lead Man Utd.
I want to stay at Man Utd, temporarily putting aside my ambition to be the head coach. I want to help the team. I have two more matches, before giving up my position to the new coach. Everyone is focused on these two matches, before welcoming coach Amorim. I will try my best to help the team play better.
I will only temporarily lead the team for a short time and will not affect the original purpose. I will build a good relationship with the new coach and help him move Man Utd forward."

However, the problem is that, despite Van Nistelrooy doing well, he has not received any guarantees about his future from the Man Utd Board of Directors or coach Ruben Amorim. That makes Van Gol extremely impatient.
Sharing with TNT Sport, the Dutch coach shared: “I checked my phone right after leaving the interview table. I also turned on the Wi-Fi at all times. However, I have not received any new information yet. Please wait patiently.”
According to British media sources, many Man Utd players want coach Van Nistelrooy to stay and contribute to the club. However, many people fear that Van Gol's aura at Old Trafford will overshadow coach Ruben Amorim. Therefore, the Portuguese coach is not sure to keep Van Nistelrooy.
Coach Ruben Amorim will bring three assistants Carlos Fernandes, Adelio Candido, Emanuel Ferro, along with goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital and fitness coach Paulo Barreira. The Portuguese coach has not confirmed whether he will add Van Nistelrooy to his team of assistants.
Van Gol's future will be clear on November 11, when coach Amorim officially takes over Man Utd.
