What's in Vinhomes' biggest share offering in history?

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Vinhomes plans to issue an additional 4.1 billion new shares, raising its charter capital to over 80,000 billion VND, the largest dividend payout in the history of Vietnamese securities in terms of quantity.

The State Securities Commission (SSC) has announced that it has received the documents reporting the issuance of shares to pay dividends as outlined in Issuance Report No. 01 dated June 17th and supplementary documents as per Official Letter No. 2306 dated June 23rd from Vinhomes Joint Stock Company (stock code: VHM).

According to the plan, Vinhomes intends to distribute dividends in shares at a rate of 100%, equivalent to issuing an additional 4.1 billion new shares, thereby increasing its charter capital to over 80,000 billion VND. This is the largest dividend distribution in the history of the Vietnamese stock market in terms of the number of shares issued. The implementation period is in the second and third quarters of this year.

Previously, Vinhomes also announced July 22nd as the payment date for the cash dividend at a rate of 60% (equivalent to 6,000 VND per share). The record date for shareholders to receive the dividend is June 30th.

Regarding business performance, in 2026, Vinhomes plans its highest ever business targets with revenue of VND 285,000 billion and after-tax profit of VND 60,000 billion, representing increases of 86% and 38% respectively compared to last year's performance.

In the first quarter of the year, Vinhomes recorded consolidated net revenue of VND 65,114 billion, four times higher than the same period in 2025. After-tax profit reached VND 25,625 billion, a tenfold increase compared to the same period in 2025. With these results, Vinhomes has completed approximately 23% of its revenue plan and 43% of its profit target for the year.

On the stock exchange, VHM shares have been continuously rising sharply. The stock closed the trading session on June 26th at 162,000 VND per share, with a corresponding market capitalization of over 665,400 billion VND.
