To realize the aspiration of promoting the image of Ca Mau province and connecting domestic and international tourists, Ca Mau province is focusing on implementing a comprehensive set of large-scale stimulus measures. Accordingly, in the final months of 2026, the province will prioritize the development of diverse new tourism products, improving service quality and visitor experiences; and simultaneously boosting promotional activities linked to digital transformation. Effectively utilizing cultural, sports , and tourism events, as well as unique resources, will act as a lever to boost consumption and increase service revenue. Through this, the program will not only create more jobs and increase income for the people but also contribute positively to GRDP growth, aiming for double-digit growth in the province in 2026, gradually building Ca Mau into a distinctive eco-tourism, community-based, and cultural destination in the Mekong Delta region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Lu Quang Ngoi, affirmed that one year is not a long time in the development process of a locality, but it is enough to confirm that the policy of merging provinces is correct, timely, and in line with the development requirements of the country in the new period. More importantly, after one year, the province has created a new development space, better utilized its potential and advantages, strengthened the people's confidence, and created new momentum for the province's development.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province assessed that the locality has achieved many important results. The economy continues to maintain positive growth momentum, with a growth rate of approximately 8% in 2025, and budget revenue increasing by nearly 17%, creating a solid foundation for the next phase. The province is determined to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity; building a more streamlined and effective two-tier local government; putting people and businesses at the center of service; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, and the application of science and technology to improve governance capacity and create a favorable environment for investment and development. At the same time, the locality will focus on effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of the marine economy; developing the shrimp industry in a modern and sustainable direction; promoting clean energy, logistics, trade, services, and tourism; and accelerating the progress of strategic infrastructure projects to create new impetus for growth. In addition, the province continues to focus on the comprehensive development of culture, education, and healthcare, caring for the people's lives, ensuring social security; and maintaining national defense and security, as well as sovereignty over the sea and islands.

At the event, Ca Mau province officially announced and launched its provincial logo – the official symbol representing the image, identity, development aspirations, and spirit of unity of the locality in the new era. This is not just a simple graphic symbol, but the culmination of the wisdom and dedication of experts, the consensus of the political system and the people; becoming a unique identifying mark that allows Ca Mau to confidently rise, integrate, and develop sustainably.
