Technical workers of Ben En Xanh Joint Stock Company inspect the water sedimentation and filtration system.
According to Mr. Le Quoc Nam, Director of Ben En Xanh Joint Stock Company: In 2018, after taking over the Ben Sung clean water station, the company focused on investing in infrastructure and equipment, and innovating management and operation to improve network management efficiency and ensure the supply of clean water to customers. The company directly purchases raw water from Song Chu One-Member Limited Liability Company at Song Muc Lake, resulting in relatively good input water quality. To improve water quality and prevent leakage, the company invested in a water treatment system using Lamen sedimentation technology. In addition, the company regularly inspects and repairs leaky or broken water pipes, replaces water meters periodically or when damaged; and cooperates with relevant agencies to regularly check water quality through water sampling and testing. This ensures a regular, stable, and uninterrupted water supply to serve the production and business activities of enterprises and the daily lives of residents. Currently, the company provides regular employment for 13 workers, with salaries ranging from 8 to 10 million VND per person per month. Each year, the company pays 250 million VND in taxes to the State.
Currently, Ben En Xanh Joint Stock Company's water supply operations are stable in both volume and quality. The company currently supplies clean water to 3,000 customers in Nhu Thanh commune and some neighboring communes, with a capacity of 3,500 m³/day. Mr. Nguyen Van Luong from Nhu Thanh commune said: “My family has been a long-time customer of Ben En Xanh Joint Stock Company. The quality of the company's clean water supply service is constantly improving. Having access to clean water helps my family, and the people in general, improve their quality of life.”
However, in the process of bringing clean water to the people, Ben En Xanh Joint Stock Company has encountered many obstacles and difficulties, such as: In recent years, local authorities in the region have undertaken urban renovation and rural development projects, and the expansion of roads has damaged pipelines, forcing the company to bear the costs of repairs and upgrades. Many families registered for clean water services but still utilize drilled wells, open wells, and rainwater to save costs. In many areas, the population density is low, and hundreds of meters of water supply pipelines are invested in but only a few households use them. Water prices have not been adjusted for many years, while the State has repeatedly adjusted electricity prices for production... all of which have been affecting the company's production and business results.
