
APEC 2027 Logo Design Contest
The APEC 2027 logo design contest, launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to select the official logo for this important diplomatic event.
The deadline for submitting entries is from the launch of the competition until July 25, 2026. Paper entries should be sent to the Exhibition and Applied Arts Department, Bureau of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, 38 Cao Ba Quat Street, Dien Bien Ward, Hanoi; electronic entries should be sent to phongtrienlam@gmail.com .
The prize structure includes 1 First Prize worth 50 million VND with a Certificate and 2 Consolation Prizes, each worth 5 million VND.
Notably, the winning logo design will be selected as the basis for developing the official visual identity of APEC Vietnam 2027. The winning designer will be invited to collaborate with the Organizing Committee in finalizing the visual identity for use in diplomatic activities, publicity, and promotion.
The competition is open to all Vietnamese organizations and individuals, as well as foreigners legally residing and working in Vietnam. Each author may submit an unlimited number of entries.
The submitted logo design must convey the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance, economic integration, and prosperity of APEC; while also reflecting the image of a dynamic, integrated, and developing Vietnam. The logo must include the text "APEC VIET NAM 2027" and must not use images of the national flag, national emblem, or map in the design.
In terms of professional requirements, the logo design must be highly symbolic, modern, creative, unique, and not a copy or duplication of any previously used logo. The design needs to be easily recognizable, suitable for application on various materials, ensuring effective use in both color and black-and-white versions, and include all necessary technical specifications regarding color and size to support the development of the brand identity.
The Organizing Committee accepts entries in two forms: paper and electronic. For paper entries, works should be presented on A4 paper, accompanied by a description of the concept. For electronic entries, authors should send the design file in JPG, PNG, or PDF format along with the description via email.
