The Shopee Cup is coming to Hanoi, fans shouldn't miss the chance to meet Quang Hai and Van Hau. The trophy for the Southeast Asian Club Championship - Shopee Cup 2025-2026 season will arrive in Hanoi this weekend, as part of a series of football fan meet-and-greet activities at AEON Mall Long Bien.

An opportunity to meet and interact directly with Vietnamese football stars: The event will be held on Saturday, January 10th, starting at 11 AM, with free admission. The highlight of the program is the display of the Shopee Cup trophy - a prestigious symbol for the ASEAN Club Champions, which will be awarded when the 2025-2026 season concludes in May.

Besides the trophy display, Vietnamese football fans will have the opportunity to interact with many players currently competing in this season's Shopee Cup. It is expected that Nguyen Quang Hai and Doan Van Hau (Hanoi Police FC), along with Nguyen Van Toan and Nguyen Tuan Anh (Nam Dinh FC), will participate in the Meet & Greet program at 3:15 PM.

Throughout the event, the organizers arranged many interactive activities in the Central Court area, such as games for the audience, a photo area with jerseys of Hanoi Police FC and Nam Dinh FC, live cheering performances , and freestyle football. A lucky draw with many prizes is scheduled to take place at 3:30 PM.

Regarding the tournament's progress, after 3 rounds of group stage matches, Nam Dinh Club is leading Group B with a perfect record. Meanwhile, Hanoi Police Club, last season's runner-up, is currently ranked 4th in Group A. The Shopee Cup will continue with the 4th round of matches on January 28th and 29th.

After a stop in Hanoi, the Shopee Cup tour will continue to Thailand and Malaysia. The tournament currently brings together 12 top clubs from Southeast Asia, competing in a home-and-away group stage before progressing to the semi-finals and final in a two-legged format.

In its inaugural season, Buriram United FC (Thailand) won the Shopee Cup after defeating Hanoi Police FC in a penalty shootout, following a 5-5 draw in the final over two legs.
