Ho Chi Minh City Orchid Festival is organized by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee , the organizing agency is Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and the implementing unit is Ho Chi Minh City Center for Consulting and Supporting the Transformation of Agricultural Economic Structure.

This is an opportunity to honor the orchid brand and ornamental flower products which are the key products of the agricultural sector of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities in the regions that have signed cooperation agreements on socio-economic development with Ho Chi Minh City; connecting culture, tourism with urban agricultural development to create an ideal and attractive tourist destination when coming to the City. The event also contributes to creating a bridge between the state and farmers with consumers in the agricultural sector towards the goal of building "civilized farmers - ecological agriculture - modern countryside".

This year's festival attracted the participation of more than 200 units including cooperatives, gardeners, artisans from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dong Thap... with nearly 39,000 orchid products on display, an increase of 35% compared to the second Orchid Festival in 2024; of which, products from Ho Chi Minh City accounted for more than 87%. At the same time, the festival also had the participation of international units such as Thailand... and the participation of the Consulates General of Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia...

In addition, the Festival also organizes an Orchid Competition and Orchid Workshop with the theme "Application of high technology in the production of orchid and ornamental plant varieties in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities". Thereby, sharing technologies and scientific and technical applications to develop orchids and ornamental plants.

Visiting this year's Orchid Festival, visitors have the opportunity to admire the display space, exhibition of large landscapes, miniature landscapes and buffer space landscapes showing the characteristics of regions across the country; International Cooperation and Regional Connection space;...

Notably, visitors can also witness an interesting combination of the past and present when visiting the grand space of the North-South train and Metro, inspired by the two Thong Nhat trains departing at the same time on January 31, 1976 from Hanoi and Saigon, symbolizing the North-South unification; combined with the modern metro, a symbol of the journey of integration and sustainable development. The design also carries the message "Green City - Future City", aiming for the goal of Net Zero to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve the quality of life for people, enhance public health and protect the environment.
