The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2026 will take place from March 13-15 with the theme "Hanoi - Green Tourism, Digital Experience" at Thong Nhat Park. This annual event aims to promote the image of the capital city as an attractive destination offering diverse experiences, harmoniously combining traditional heritage values with modern tourism trends.

The festival features nearly 100 booths, designed as a journey of discovery through the vibrant colors of Hanoi. Highlights include the "Memory Space," which recreates the beauty of the Old Quarter, architecture, traditional crafts, and cultural life of the capital through model destinations and exhibitions of photography and painting. The "Connection Space" provides opportunities for tourism businesses and visitors to meet, introduce new tours, promotions, and attractive vouchers.

The highlight of this year's festival is the Technology Space, where visitors can experience digital tourism through VR360 virtual reality technology, international online travel platforms, artificial intelligence applications, and robotic receptionists. In addition, the Green Space showcases ecotourism, rural tourism, and resort products at typical destinations in Hanoi such as Ba Vi, Soc Son, My Duc, Dong Mo, and the ancient village of Duong Lam.

Traditional cuisine and crafts are also celebrated at the "Exquisite Cuisine Space," with many activities showcasing famous crafts and culinary experiences such as lotus tea, Vong village sticky rice cakes, Hanoi pho, Ngu Xa pho rolls, Thanh Tri rice rolls, Hang Duong candied fruits, etc.

This space also showcases regional specialties such as Quang noodles and Hue beef noodle soup, contributing to a diverse culinary landscape. Furthermore, the "Connecting Four Corners of the World" space brings together tourism booths from many localities such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa, and Gia Lai, promoting tourism development linkages between Hanoi and provinces and cities nationwide.

The festival features the participation of numerous tourism organizations and businesses such as the Hanoi Tourism Association, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club, the UNESCO Center for Vietnamese Culinary Culture, as well as travel agencies, tourist attractions, and accommodation establishments in the area. Many new tourism products, unique tours, and promotional programs will be introduced to visitors.

The opening ceremony took place from 7 PM to 8:30 PM on March 13th at the Thong Nhat Park stage, featuring an elaborately staged artistic program with many famous young artists. The festival also included activities such as a survey of Bat Trang pottery village, a seminar on developing rural craft village tourism, and a charity run to promote green tourism and environmental protection.

In addition, there are many unique cultural and artistic exchange and performance programs such as the Te Tieu puppet show, the Xuan Lai-Da Phuc drum-pulling dance, the Suoi Hai gong dance, the Quan Ho folk singing of Bac Ninh, and excerpts of art performances related to tourism. Activities such as experiencing traditional crafts, enjoying local cuisine, and interacting with artisans, chefs, and travel bloggers also take place throughout the three days of the festival.
