
Nam Pung Pear Festival 2026
The Nam Pung Pear Festival takes place from June 27th to July 3rd in Kin Chu Phin 2 village, Muong Hum commune (Lao Cai province), offering the experience of picking VH6 pears during the ripening season and a cultural space of the Mong, Dao, and Giay ethnic groups, creating unforgettable summer memories in the heart of Northwest Vietnam.
At the festival, visitors will be immersed in a series of rich activities: pear picking competition, voting for "Three Best Pear Orchards", the "Colorful Nậm Pung Pears" photo contest, and enjoying the atmosphere of the digital market with the theme: "Nậm Pung Pears - Rich Flavor of the Northwest Forest".
Besides being able to pick and enjoy sweet, refreshing pears right in the orchard, visitors can also explore the local culture through stalls displaying characteristic OCOP products, creating unforgettable summer memories in the heart of Northwest Vietnam.
More than just a journey to explore agriculture, the Nam Pung Pear Festival also offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the cultural life of the Mong, Dao, Giay, and Ha Nhi ethnic groups.
