Shopping Festival 2025
The "2025 Shopping Festival" will be organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Dong Anh Commune People's Committee, from December 25th to December 28th, 2025, at the Cultural, Information and Sports Center , Cao Lo Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City.
This is not only a familiar year-end shopping destination but also a cultural and economic meeting point with a strong Vietnamese identity, contributing to reviving the spirit of connection between production, market, and community in the context of integration.
With 120 standard booths and various spaces including: a display and introduction area for typical products and product demonstrations; an area showcasing regional culinary culture; and a trade and networking area for distributors and other side activities.
Through this program, not only is the circulation of goods promoted, but it also contributes to honoring the value of Vietnamese goods and encouraging Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese products.
A key highlight of this year's festival is the regional culinary and traditional craft village cuisine space. This is where the essence of Vietnamese cuisine converges – dishes connected to the memories of the countryside, the skillful hands of culinary artisans, and the unique identity of each region. Visitors can find everything from delicate Hanoi delicacies like sticky rice cakes and cold snail noodle soup, to dishes with the rich flavors of the mountains and forests such as smoked meat; from the salty taste of the sea in traditional fish sauce to the sophistication of each rice paper roll, fermented pork roll, or specialty teas and desserts. Traditional craft village cuisine embodies cultural depth, reflecting how Vietnamese people preserve, refine, and innovate over time. Many dishes featured at the festival are the culmination of centuries-old craft villages, where each family is a "keeper of the craft," and each product is a testament to generations of tradition. Stories about clean ingredients, processing secrets, preservation techniques, and how to keep dishes true to their "countryside essence" in modern life are vividly presented, helping viewers not only enjoy the food with their taste buds but also with cultural empathy.
The culinary space is also a place where tradition and modernity intersect, with many products standardized according to safe production processes, scientifically packaged, and environmentally friendly.
Alongside commercial activities, the festival also offers a rich cultural and entertainment space with traditional art performances, music, a photo-worthy area with scenic backdrops, and specially designed lighting for the festival season. These activities contribute to a joyful and lively atmosphere, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to visit, shop, and experience the festivities.
