This is a provincial-level event, organized to respond to activities celebrating Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in conjunction with the celebration of the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and major holidays in 2025.

With the theme “Entering the era of national growth with books”, Dak Nong Book and Reading Culture Festival will connect businesses and book publishing establishments inside and outside the province to display and introduce to readers in the area the latest book publications of all genres, providing knowledge about history, culture, education, economics, politics, etc.

In particular, at the Dak Nong Province Book and Reading Culture Festival 2025, there will be 5 activities organized including:

- Opening Ceremony of Book Festival and Reading Culture: 8:00 – 9:30 on May 15, 2025;

- Festival of modern dance groups of high schools, intermediate schools, and colleges in Dak Nong province in 2025: 19:00 - 22:00 on May 15, 2025.

- Seminar "Developing reading culture, entering a new era with books - the era of national growth" with the participation of Dr. Cao Thanh Phuoc - Former Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information - Library, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture: 8:00 - 10:00 on May 16, 2025.

- Art program to celebrate the 135th Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh: 20:00 - 21:00 on May 16, 2025.

- Awarding ceremony of poetry contest in Nam Nung Magazine: 8:00 – 9:30 on May 17, 2025.

At the same time, accompanying the Festival are units, agencies, publishing enterprises such as Sbook, Thai Ha Book, Kim Dong Publishing House, Education Publishing House, Southern Educational Equipment Book Joint Stock Company, Dak Nong Educational Equipment Book Joint Stock Company, Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Gia Nghia City People's Committee... with booths displaying, exhibiting, selling books at preferential prices, forming different book spaces and attractive activities such as space for selling books at preferential prices of 10 - 30%; space for displaying, arranging books according to artistic models, serving free reading, introducing new books, good books, new works written about Dak Nong... Readers who come to visit and shop will also be able to participate in the experience of the mobile library; check in with the Festival with fun hashtags; admire the artistic book arrangement models; receive free calligraphy paintings; participate in some fun quizzes, folk games for visiting readers; entertainment services for children (painting statues, drawing, etc.)

In addition to provincial-level activities, the People's Committees of districts, cities, agencies and units in the province also organize many activities in response to the Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 in forms suitable to the actual situation of each locality, agency and unit. The organization of the above activities aims to affirm the position, role and importance of books in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking, educating and training human personality; encouraging and developing the reading movement in the community, contributing to building a learning society.

The series of activities responding to and organizing Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 in Dak Nong province will be organized from March 2025 to the end of May 2025.
