The 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival, themed "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group in the new era," will take place from June 26-28, 2026, at the April 16th Square (Dong Hai Ward) and several other locations in Khanh Hoa province.

The 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in 2026 will be organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, with the participation of 7 provinces and cities where the Cham people live, including: Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City.

The opening ceremony of the Festival will take place at 8 PM on June 26th at April 16th Square; it will be broadcast live on VTV8 and rebroadcast on the platforms of press, radio, and television agencies of the provinces and cities participating in the Festival. The closing ceremony will take place at 8 PM on June 28th at the same location and will be broadcast live on KTV.

Within the framework of the festival, many unique cultural, sports, and tourism activities, deeply rooted in the Cham ethnic culture, will take place, such as: performances and introductions of traditional festivals and cultural rituals; folk art festivals; ethnic costume shows; introductions of traditional crafts; exhibitions of Cham culture; folk sports activities; introductions of tourism products, OCOP products, and local cuisine.

In addition, the festival also includes other activities such as: a seminar on "Preserving and promoting the value of Cham cultural heritage in Khanh Hoa associated with sustainable tourism development"; a thematic exhibition on "Characteristics of Cham ethnic culture in the cultural community of Vietnamese ethnic groups"; a multimedia art installation space and activities promoting community tourism.

The activities of the festival contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of the Cham people; strengthening exchanges and community bonds between localities; and promoting the cultural image, people, and tourism development potential of Khanh Hoa province in particular and localities where the Cham people live in general.
