Jinju Silk Lantern Exhibition

The Jinju Silk Lantern Exhibition: A vibrant photo-op space in Hanoi, taking place from November 4th to December 26th. The exhibition space includes photo zones featuring Jinju silk lanterns and promotes the city of Jinju, created with nearly 1,300 brightly colored silk lanterns. The Korean Cultural Center will promote the beauty of Korean culture through the exhibition "Korean Light: Jinju Silk Lanterns ." This exhibition is the final stop in the series of Jinju Silk Lantern exhibitions in Southeast Asia, part of the "Touring K-Arts" cultural exchange project of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

This project, aimed at showcasing the beauty of Korean art and culture to the world, is a collaborative effort between Korean Cultural Centers abroad and Jinju City, with support from the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE). Prior to this, the exhibition was successfully held in the Philippines in May and Indonesia in August.

The exhibition space includes the "Jinju Silk Lantern Light Tunnel," the "Jinju Silk Lantern Light Wall," and photo zones featuring Jinju silk lanterns and promoting the city of Jinju, all created with nearly 1,300 brightly colored Jinju silk lanterns.

During the exhibition, the Korean Cultural Center organized various experiential activities for visitors, such as experiencing making Korean lanterns and writing wishes on a wish tree.

To celebrate this occasion, starting November 8th, the Korean Cultural Center will be holding a free "Hanbok Day" program every Saturday (from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). This will be an opportunity for Hanoi residents to experience the beauty of traditional Korean clothing along with Jinju silk lanterns and enjoy beautiful moments with family and friends in a space steeped in Korean culture. The program promises to be a must-see for everyone this weekend.
