Sellers must ensure adequate storage of electronic invoices for gasoline and oil sales to customers who are non-business individuals or business individuals and ensure they can be looked up when requested by competent authorities.
This unit said that as of March 28.3, nationwide there were 15.762 gasoline retail stores issuing electronic invoices for each sale, reaching about 98,9% of the total number of gasoline retail stores. There are about over 100 stores that have not yet done so, accounting for 1,1%.
Statistics show that 59/63 localities have achieved over 90% progress, 40 localities have completed 100% progress.
According to reports from the Tax Departments, by March 31.3, gasoline stations across the country will basically issue electronic invoices for each sale.
The Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation continue to direct tax authorities to take the lead in advising the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct the strengthening, inspection and supervision of petroleum stations to ensure the implementation of electronic invoices according to the regulations. each sale. In case of violation, they will be handled according to the provisions of law, said a representative of the General Department of Taxation.
Previously, the Government and Prime Minister assigned the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct functional forces to consider and handle petroleum businesses that do not comply with regulations on chemicals by the end of March 31.3.2024, XNUMX. electronic application, will request temporary suspension of business operations and revocation of licenses and certificates of business eligibility according to the provisions of law.

In each locality, the tax agency takes the lead in advising the People's Committee to direct and proactively coordinate closely with relevant departments and branches to promote and diversify measures and solutions to propagate to taxpayers about the benefits. of issuing electronic invoices for each sale at petrol stations and penalties for violations.
In addition, the tax authority also discussed and worked with local petroleum business units and solution providers to share experiences that have been successfully implemented and discuss effective solutions for businesses. industry, meeting the management requirements of state agencies on petroleum business, regulations on invoices and documents.
Establish interdisciplinary working groups to work directly with petroleum retail business units, grasp the current situation, and develop implementation plans associated with each area, business, and gasoline retail store. oil.
