Green-skinned grapefruit prices decrease

(CT) - The price of green-skinned pomelos in many localities in the Mekong Delta has decreased by 2,000-10,000 VND/kg compared to a month ago. Large green-skinned pomelos (about 1.2-3kg/fruit, nice skin) are sold by farmers in many places to traders for 20,000-25,000 VND/kg, while small pomelos cost 10,000-15,000 VND/kg.

(CT) - The price of green-skinned pomelos in many localities in the Mekong Delta has decreased by 2,000-10,000 VND/kg compared to a month ago. Large green-skinned pomelos (about 1.2-3kg/fruit, nice skin) are sold by farmers in many places to traders for 20,000-25,000 VND/kg, while small ones cost 10,000-15,000 VND/kg. The price of grade 1 green-skinned pomelos is being retailed at many markets and supermarkets in Can Tho city and Vinh Long and Dong Thap provinces at 45,000-52,000 VND/kg, while grades 2 and 3 are at 25,000-40,000 VND/kg. The price has decreased due to abundant supply and weak purchasing power.
