Coffee prices today, December 13, 2024, on the world market, at 3:00 am, are updated on the Vietnam Commodity Exchange MXV (world coffee prices are continuously updated by MXV, matching world exchanges, the only channel in Vietnam that continuously updates and links to world exchanges).

Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day), Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day), Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

Robusta coffee price on London floor on December 13, 2024

At the end of the trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor at 3:20 a.m. on December 13, 2024 had a strong increase after a previous sharp decrease of 33 - 55 USD/ton, fluctuating between 5019 - 5194 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery period for January 2025 is 5194 USD/ton (up 33 USD/ton); the delivery period for March 2025 is 5152 USD/ton (up 51 USD/ton); the delivery period for May 2025 is 5095 USD/ton (up 53 USD/ton) and the delivery period for July 2025 is 5019 USD/ton (up 55 USD/ton).

Arabica Coffee Price New York December 13, 2024

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor on the morning of December 13, 2024, also increased simultaneously but not significantly compared to the previous trading period, the increase was from 1.05 - 1.55 cents/lb, fluctuating from 307.60 - 321.25 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period for March 2025 was 321.25 cents/lb (up 1.05 cents/lb); the delivery period for May 2025 was 319.00 cents/lb (up 1.20 cents/lb); the delivery period for July 2025 was 314.45 cents/lb (up 1.40 cents/lb) and the delivery period for September 2025 was 307.60 cents/lb (up 1.55 cents/lb).

Brazilian Arabica Coffee Price on December 13, 2024

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee on the morning of December 13, 2024 increased or decreased depending on the trading period, the increase was from 1.85 - 4 USD/ton (for the periods of December 24, May 25, July 25). Specifically, the delivery period of December 2024 was 402.00 USD/ton (up 4 USD/ton); the delivery period of May 2025 was 397.75 USD/ton (up 1.60 USD/ton) and the delivery period of July 2025 was 391.60 USD/ton (up 1.85 USD/ton). The delivery period of March 25 alone was 404.50 USD/ton (down 4.05 USD/ton).

Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:00 a.m. on December 13, 2024, unchanged from the previous day. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 123,100 VND/kg.

The coffee purchase price in Dak Lak province is at 123,000 VND/kg; the coffee purchase price in Lam Dong province is at 122,000 VND/kg; the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai province is at 123,000 VND/kg and the coffee purchase price in Dak Nong province is at the highest level compared to the Central Highlands provinces at 123,200 VND/kg.

Domestic coffee price list on December 13, 2024

According to statistics, since the beginning of the year, Vietnam's coffee export prices have been growing continuously. Specifically, in January 2024, the export price of coffee was only above 3,000 USD/ton, but by October 2024, this figure had jumped to 5,855 USD/ton. This shows that after only 10 months, coffee prices have increased by more than 90%.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the average export price of coffee in the 11 months of 2024 is estimated at 4,037 USD/ton, an increase of 56.9% over the same period in 2023.

Although the export volume in the first 11 months of 2024 reached nearly 1.2 million tons, down 15.4% compared to the previous year, the export turnover increased by 32.8%, reaching 4.84 billion USD. Germany, Italy and Spain are currently the three largest coffee consuming markets of Vietnam. Notably, coffee exports have grown in all markets in the group of 15 major export markets, with the strongest increase in the two markets of Malaysia and the Philippines, where the increase doubled.

Entering the 2024-2025 coffee crop year, Vietnam has made remarkable achievements since the 2023-2024 crop year. Although coffee export output decreased by over 12%, reaching only 1.46 million tons, the turnover increased by over 33%, reaching 5.43 billion USD. This is the highest export turnover in a coffee crop year ever and the first time coffee exports have exceeded the 5 billion USD mark in a crop year.
