According to statistics from Esports Chart, the 2024 World Championship Finals between T1 and Bilibili Gaming ( BLG) reached 6.94 million concurrent viewers, with an average of 1.73 million viewers, making it the most-watched esports match in history. Prior to that, the T1 - GenG match also broke viewership records, becoming the most-watched esports semi-final in history with over 4.9 million simultaneous viewers. In Vietnam, VNGGames, in collaboration with partners, successfully organized a series of 2024 World Championship Viewing Parties at 40 locations across 12 provinces and cities nationwide, attracting a total of over 15,000 participants. According to statistics from the official LOL Esports Vietnam broadcast channels (YouTube, TikTok) and co-streaming channels, the tournament in Vietnam alone garnered 1.1 million views. This is also the second consecutive year that VNGGames has partnered to organize large-scale live viewing events for key esports tournaments. 
Furthermore, VNGGames also supported streamer Hoang Luan in participating in co-streaming (live streaming on his personal livestream) in London, United Kingdom – the location of the Grand Finals – to spread the vibrant atmosphere of the tournament to the Vietnamese eSports fan community. Commentator Hoang Luan was the only representative from Vietnam, along with 12 other KOLs from China, South Korea, Brazil, Europe, and North America, to have the honor of participating in the live co-streaming event. The Vietnamese League of Legends representative, GAM Esports, although eliminated in the Swiss Round, contributed two of the most-watched matches on LOL Esports VN, averaging 350,000 views per match. While unable to advance further, GAM's performance attracted the attention of international audiences and media, delivering impressive moments throughout the tournament. It's safe to say that the 2024 League of Legends World Championship holds immense significance for the esports industry. London & Partners estimates that the 2024 World Championship Grand Finals, held at the O2 Arena in London, could boost the UK economy by £12 million, equivalent to $15.5 million. Each year, this tournament sets new standards in terms of viewership, prize money, and popularity. The 2024 League of Legends World Championship will be held in several cities across Europe, including London (UK), Berlin (Germany), and Paris (France). The total prize pool for this year's tournament reached $2.25 billion, with the champion, T1, receiving $445,000.
