Before, during, and after the Lunar New Year, the Provincial Police force implemented a comprehensive set of measures to ensure security, order, and traffic safety, maintaining peace so that people could enjoy the spring and celebrate the New Year safely. The provincial police have developed a plan to ensure security and order during the holiday period, especially to protect the Lunar New Year of the Horse in 2026; and to ensure absolute security and order for the election of National Assembly representatives and representatives of people's councils at all levels.
The first priority for the Provincial Police is to effectively carry out propaganda work to raise public awareness, encourage self-protection and protection of loved ones, and ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations related to security and order. The Provincial Police advises the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, and directs the commune-level police forces to advise local Party committees and authorities at the commune level to mobilize relevant forces to effectively prevent and combat various types of crimes and social vices, ensuring the smooth implementation of administrative procedures and traffic safety in each commune, ward, special zone, and throughout the province.
Furthermore, with a proactive and offensive approach, the Provincial Police are focusing their efforts on combating various types of crime, especially criminal offenses, drug-related crimes, and other offenses, paying particular attention to ensuring food safety, environmental violations, and issues affecting people's enjoyment of the Lunar New Year celebrations; implementing procedures for issuing licenses, registering drivers, and conducting driver's license tests according to established procedures and rapidly transitioning to digital transformation.
The provincial police force is focusing on inspecting, reminding, and urging the performance of duties by police forces at all levels, especially at the commune level, to effectively promote their roles and responsibilities, as well as the two-tiered police model implemented recently. They aim to continue promoting this model to ensure absolute safety for the people during the Lunar New Year celebrations.

Regarding theft crimes, the police force recognizes the need for focused and thorough implementation within each jurisdiction of the commune-level police as well as specialized units and provincial-level police units. The police force pays close attention to monitoring and managing the areas, gangs, and networks involved in the sale of stolen goods. During the course of their duties, the Provincial Police advise citizens to be mindful of legal awareness and to educate their family members.
The provincial police hope that citizens will behave in a civilized and ethical manner towards each other, ensuring compliance with the law. The police force will closely monitor specific conflicts among the people to participate in mediation, explain things to the people, and minimize the harm caused by potential conflicts such as intentional injury, murder, and other illegal acts.
