My Linh's passion for art began while she was still in school. From small school performances, she nurtured her dream of becoming an actress. Her persistent training helped her pass the entrance exams, ranking second in both the Hanoi College of Arts and the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film.

Within just a few years, Linh consecutively won first prize in the 2015 Student Talent Competition of the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film; and a gold medal at the 2016 Hanoi Theatre Festival. These achievements not only affirmed her talent but also paved the way for a young actress to establish herself.

Behind the awards are the silent efforts. The work of an Army theater actress demands endurance and sacrifice. Many days, My Linh and her teammates practice until 3 or 4 in the morning to complete the performance on time. There are trips lasting months, traveling throughout the mountains, borders, and islands, bringing spiritual nourishment to officers and soldiers. Many times, while her family is gathered during holidays and festivals, she is far away, performing on stage for the troops.

“Missing my children and home is always present in everyone's heart, but the greater joy is bringing laughter and optimism to the officers and soldiers,” My Linh confided. Linh's contributions have been recognized with many prestigious awards, such as the title of Promising Young Face of the Entire Army in 2024, a gold medal at the National Drama Festival in 2024, and many other awards. For My Linh, each medal is not only a source of personal pride but also a motivation for her to continue creating and contributing.

Not only in the performing arts, My Linh also plays a leading role in youth activities. As the Secretary of the Youth Union of the Army Drama Theater, Linh always takes the lead in organizing many practical activities such as coordinating with the Phu Dien Ward Youth Union (Hanoi) to help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods, clean up and rebuild the landscape; organizing the distribution of Tet gifts to disadvantaged children in Phong Tho commune ( Lai Chau )... In all her work, Captain Nguyen Thi My Linh is always dedicated to her duties and her profession.
