Google adds a new Gemini feature to Gmail.

Google has just announced two new Gemini features for Gmail users on the website, Android, and iOS to enhance their experience.

According to Google, Gmail's "Help me write" feature will receive a new enhancement called Polish, allowing for easier refinement of email drafts on the web and mobile devices. This new feature includes additional options such as: Formalize, Elaborate, and Shorten.

With the Polish feature, Gmail users can transform rough notes into a more complete and accurate draft. In addition to Polish, Google has also added "Help me write" and "Refine my draft" shortcuts on Android and iOS devices.

Accordingly, when a user is using Gmail on an Android or iOS device and the email draft is blank, the "Help me write" shortcut will appear in the email content. Once selected, it will open a full experience to help the user compose better emails.

Meanwhile, the "Improve My Draft" shortcut will appear when at least 12 words have been written in the user's email draft. On the other hand, to indicate additional available options, including Polish, Elaborate, Formalize, Shorten, etc., this shortcut will be displayed below the email content.

Google says this new feature is enabled by default. The search giant also confirmed the "Help me write" option to improve email drafts, as well as shortcuts already available on Android and iOS.
