"Oh, Ha Tinh, your love and gratitude are so deep."

That song resonated softly in the hearts of those who attended the meeting on the morning of November 12th between provincial leaders and outstanding Ha Tinh students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh entrepreneurs in the southern provinces. In their shared thoughts about their homeland, each person sowed seeds of faith, hope, and a surge of desire and responsibility to contribute to and build their homeland and country, presenting a new image of the people of Ha Tinh...

Multiply the pride

The meeting was held in Ho Chi Minh City.

For the first time, Ha Tinh province and the Ha Tinh Business Association in the South organized a large-scale gathering to connect generations of people from Ha Tinh in the southern provinces, with over 500 delegates in attendance.

The program aims to create opportunities for interaction and networking among outstanding young people and students from Ha Tinh in Ho Chi Minh City and successful entrepreneurs and individuals from Ha Tinh in the Southern region. Through this, it facilitates information sharing, job placement, and connecting high-quality human resources with businesses. A mix of emotions – emotion, honor, and pride – were felt by each delegate attending this special meeting.

Outstanding students had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas at the program.

From early morning, young people, students, and hundreds of businesspeople from Ha Tinh province, including those from Dong Nai , Binh Duong, and Binh Phuoc, gathered at the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Hall. The familiar sounds of "chi, mo, rang, rua" echoed loudly from thousands of kilometers away, like red dots marking the affection of their homeland. The atmosphere was filled with firm handshakes, radiant smiles, and heartfelt hometown sentiments, making the gathering even warmer and more meaningful.

This meeting of outstanding young people and students from Ha Tinh in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh entrepreneurs in the South is honored to welcome leaders from several central ministries and agencies, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and especially the participation of successful generations of people from Ha Tinh in the South of the country.

I am truly happy to see the development of the younger generations of Ha Tinh today, a generation that is talented and dynamic. I believe that from here, the younger generations of our compatriots will continue to promote and spread the spirit of solidarity, and wherever they are, they will always strive to contribute to the development of their province and the country.”

Stories of overcoming adversity inspire young people and students.

Continuing the fine traditions of the land of Hong Mountain and La River, generations of people in Ha Tinh today have continuously strived. At this meeting, stories of overcoming difficulties and rising above adversity, shared by many generations of Ha Tinh people in their journey to seek opportunities throughout the country, further highlighted the tradition of studiousness, solidarity, and mutual support; inspiring motivation and aspirations in young people and students.

The program also created a forum for young people and students to express their pride in their homeland's traditions and previous generations; to share their aspirations and determination to continue the tradition of their homeland; to send creative ideas and suggestions to provincial leaders on some policy issues, and to express their desire to contribute to their homeland...

Vo Thi Xuan, a student from Can Loc district at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, expressed: “Having lost both my parents and living with my uncle's family, I once thought I wouldn't have the opportunity to go to university. Fortunately, I received support from the Hong Lam Scholarship Fund, receiving 10 million VND each semester. I am deeply moved by the concern shown by the provincial leaders and benefactors. Attending this meeting today, I feel like I have more support and motivation to strive for success in the future. I will always try my best in my studies and training, and I hope that in the future I will be able to find a suitable job in my hometown.”

Tran Nhat Hoang, a student from Duc Tho district, shared his thoughts at the ceremony.

Tran Nhat Hoang, a student from Duc Tho district and an outstanding student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, shared: “As a final-year student, listening to the shared experiences, being inspired with entrepreneurial enthusiasm, and most importantly, accessing job opportunities, has given me a clearer picture of my future. With my major in tourism, I propose that the province continue to implement new, creative approaches and apply digital transformation to maximize the potential and advantages of local tourism.”

Joy, pride, and emotion were felt by every delegate participating in the program. Many plans to connect with, promote, and support the younger generation of Ha Tinh were shared during this warm reunion filled with hometown sentiment.

Professor Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, shared: “Participating in both programs this year, which involve meetings between provincial leaders and outstanding students from Ha Tinh at opposite ends of the country, I feel this is a very meaningful and necessary activity. The meetings will open up new directions for the students in their studies and inspire them to contribute to their homeland and country. Like many delegates participating in the program, I also hope to contribute to inspiring, motivating, and giving confidence to the students, and to actively connect them to create many opportunities for them in their studies and contributions.”

Giving wings to aspirations

This program, connecting and fostering interaction among generations of people from Ha Tinh, and this gathering organized by the province, has provided strength, instilled confidence, and nurtured new aspirations so that the children of Ha Tinh, wherever they may be, can contribute to their homeland and country, and spread the image and values of the people of Ha Tinh. Here, the older generation, entrepreneurs, and provincial leaders shared their experiences, provided guidance, and expressed great expectations for the younger generation of Ha Tinh.

Ms. Phan Thanh Ngan, a native of Can Loc - Chairwoman and Director of OneFin Vietnam JSC, expressed: “The meeting program, with the participation of many outstanding students, young people from Ha Tinh, and successful entrepreneurs, is a source of pride for our hometown and for the businesses and sponsors. We hope that you will continue to train, study, and uphold the tradition of studiousness of our homeland. As a businesswoman from my hometown, I will always create opportunities for young people from my hometown to have jobs at the company with attractive salaries, commensurate with their intelligence and efforts.”

Wishing to share his knowledge with his fellow young people from his hometown, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, originally from Loc Ha district and currently the Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, said: "Continuously study and train, develop your skills, constantly innovate and create to build a solid foundation and preparation for the future. Clearly define your goals and passions in your work and life, and strive your best to achieve them! I am always ready to share the experience I have accumulated with students and young people from my province whenever you need it."

The job fairs were jointly organized by the Ha Tinh Business Association in the South and the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union.

One of the most striking aspects of this year's event was the presence of job fairs organized by entrepreneurs from Ha Tinh province in the southern provinces. Careers in insurance, finance and banking, construction, and other fields, offering numerous opportunities to showcase talent and intellect, were presented to young people and students from Ha Tinh in Ho Chi Minh City. These job opportunities and career paths were offered by successful entrepreneurs from Ha Tinh in the southern provinces to their fellow countrymen.

Ms. Thai Van - Operations Department (Onefin Vietnam JSC) shared: “Our job booth in the finance and banking sector attracted a large number of young people. Through discussions, I found the students to be very capable, confident, and eager to learn... I believe that with this initial information, the company will be able to find new personnel who meet the job requirements.”

The community of people from Ha Tinh scattered throughout the country is growing stronger and sharing a common heart towards their homeland. This is not only a support for young people from Ha Tinh in their studies and careers, but also a valuable source of internal strength, working together with the Party Committee, government, and people of the entire province to build a sustainably developing Ha Tinh.

Mr. Nguyen Phi Dan chatted with and encouraged students from Ha Tinh province studying in Ho Chi Minh City.

Chairman of the Ha Tinh Business Association in the South, Nguyen Phi Dan, stated: “We will continue to overcome difficulties, build the association into an increasingly strong organization, becoming a ‘common home’ for Ha Tinh businesses in the South; and at the same time, a link connecting the Ha Tinh business community with the province, creating a foundation for building and connecting the Ha Tinh business community throughout the country. The association will always accompany social welfare activities and the overall development of our homeland.”

At this large and warm networking event, information about the changes in the province, the province's policies and strategies for attracting investment and high-quality human resources, and many opportunities for young people to contribute to their homeland were also conveyed to the young people.

Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung presented a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh to young people and students from Ha Tinh province.

The homeland always welcomes its children who have left home with open arms, contributing to its development with the warmest feelings. At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung shared in-depth information about the cultural traditions, history, and people of Ha Tinh through various periods; information about the socio-economic development of the province, as well as job opportunities within the province for young students to access and choose from. The Provincial Party Secretary also urged entrepreneurs and businesses to continue to cooperate and create more job opportunities for the people of the homeland.

The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his wish that every young person, student, entrepreneur, and fellow native of Ha Tinh, no matter where they are or what they are doing, would always spread the positive image of Ha Tinh's culture and people to friends around the world, acting as a bridge to help the province attract investment to improve the material and spiritual lives of the people; and strive to make positive contributions to the development of their homeland and the country.

The program to bring together outstanding young people and students from Ha Tinh in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh entrepreneurs from the South has fostered a strong bond of camaraderie, allowing each person from Ha Tinh to pursue their own paths and aspirations, contributing to the continuous development of Ha Tinh beyond its own borders. This helps to spread the fine traditions of their homeland and embrace the cultural essence of other regions, creating a more well-rounded new generation of Ha Tinh people who can contribute more to the province's process of innovation and integration.
